Mesmerized by flowers for 20 years

“I can still remember when I was a little girl how I would stare and study each floral stem in a vase or on a wild prairie, in awe of the beauty and feeling it created within me.”

YJDecorating is led by a master florist and Wedding MBA Elite Certificate Holder — whose grandmother and mother had a love affair with flowers. Today that love story continues with every couple we meet.

We close once a year to focus on learning and mastering our craft — new techniques, colors, products and trends — so we can be the leader in floral and event design in Chicago. Our fresh product comes from the highest shelf, for the highest quality, beauty and longevity of each stem.

Share Your Vision

Fill out our consultation form — please answer every question, it all helps us design for you. Share your date, venue, colors and inspiration, then tell us your must-haves in the “Tell us your story” space.

Proposal & Meet

With everything we need, we typically send a preliminary proposal by email within 24–48 hours — even sooner in our off season. Love it and want to talk it through? We schedule a 20–30 minute Zoom with the YJDecorating team.

Secure Your Date

A save-the-date deposit — sent easily via Zelle — holds your day. No need to jump into a full contract right away; the deposit simply reserves your date while we design.
